Ickenham Festive Community Night, Friday 7th December 2018.

 

Shops, schools, churches, local groups and businesses come together for a great night out!

 

 Again this year, Ickenham will have its own special Christmas celebration night. 

The Ickenham Festive Community Night, on Friday 7th December, from 6pm to 9pm, featuring a wide range of music, activities, fun and shopping.

  • Many local shops and businesses will be planning plan to open late with hospitality and special features. 

  • Open shops: All usual late-opening shops PLUS : Kafe 6, Orchard, Mystic Grill, Card Shop, Decor Home Improvements, Harlington Hospice, Coopers, Scentsational, Lakins, Bikewise

  • In Village Hall:  Tinder box (pocket money toys , gifts for kids etc), Friends of Vyners (Raffle, bottle tombola), Butterflies (Lucky Dip, name teddy, sweets)
    Ickenham & Swakeleys Horticultural Society, Hillingdon Friends of Earth (lucky dip, childrens' games), 5th Dimension (chocolate), various Cake stalls
    Floral art (flower arranging accessories), Green Kitchen (jam, chutney etc), Soft toy tombola raising funds for dog trust, Ickenham Art society, IRA
    Personalised Christmas baubles, Toys & Christmas gifts, personalised wooden plaques & gifts, Pastiche Musical Theatre with a treasure hunt
    Hannah & Scarlett fundraising for London Marathon with various kids games, Bold & Beautiful ( Upcycled gifts), Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan cupcakes etc
    Jewellery, Argosy players

  • In Guide Hut (Community Close)

  • Guides stalls, Plait lady (hair plaiting), Flamingo Cards (greetings cards etc), Argosy with games, Independant knitters(knitted toys, hats, scarves), Sarah (silver Jewelery)

  • Christmas Market at St Giles' Church, Christmas Trees in the Church

  • Music and entertainments, song and dance in the streets and outside library

  • Pubs open with food & drink, local restaurants and takeaways, food stalls in the street

  • With the aid of a grant from the London Borough of Hillingdon, and our generous shopkeepers, there will be Christmas themed lights in and around the village.
